Profit through Access is a brand new online training course. Designed for tourism businesses - and free for your use - it will help you attract a wider range of visitors and improve your profits. The course is provided by One NorthEast, (England) as one of many resources for tourism providers. They write:
"Some businesses are daunted by the prospect of tackling access. Many think it will be expensive. It needn’t be. One NorthEast has developed this course to help businesses improve the experience for all visitors. From an elderly couple who struggle with steps to a single traveller who is hard of hearing. From a family juggling children and luggage to a teenager managing diabetes. In fact any visitor who might need a little extra help."

I did this online course which was interesting and informative! Its great for raising awareness and widening your views. Ive passed the link on on to several people including one of the ladies who works for us as she hadn't had much contact before with people with disabilities.
Ive also passed it on to the supervisor of the new Airline -' Athens Airways' that has just launched its first flight from Kefalonia Airport yesterday.
I think the course will hopefully change a few attitudes and get people thinking in the right way!
